Questions we hear
Is my data really encrypted?
Yes. PPS numbers and bank details are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest. We never see them unencrypted. Every access is logged.
When do I need the concierge?
Most families need it when someone dies. You can also hire the concierge to help manage a living relative’s affairs.
Can I change my mind?
Always. Change your wishes anytime. Downgrade your membership and keep your data. Cancel the concierge at any time (we’ll finish what’s in progress).
Do you hold my money?
No. We never hold your money, mortgages, or trust funds. We coordinate notifications. Fees are one-time or annual, never prepaid for estate services.
Is this a will replacement?
No. Family Vault stores where your will is kept and introduces you to a solicitor if you don’t have one. Your will is separate, as it should be.
How is this different from a password manager?
We’re not a password vault. We record wishes, funeral preferences, and account locations—the stuff your executor needs that a password manager can’t hold.
